About the Artist

: A 2002 Somerville Arts Council Artist Fellowship winner, Matt Carrano has maintained a studio in Somerville, Massachusetts since 1995, participating in solo and group shows in and around the Boston area and internationally. He studied painting and drawing at the Cambridge Center Studio School, the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, and the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown. Matt is a founding member and past president of Somerville Open Studios and has curated exhibits at the Nave Gallery, a non-profit arts space in Somerville.
